I have been drinking tea fairly seriously since about 2012. My main focus is Yancha, the “rock oolongs” of Wuyishan in Fujian, China. The oolong an black teas of Wuyishan were the teas that I was first shown as being the product of craftsmen, and something that can be taken seriously. Like many Westerners tea was never the main focus, it was something to make after dinner, or something to drink with pastries while enjoying a conversation.

Now, I would travel across the world for a cup of tea.
